One of the best practices to achieve this is by including an OPT-OUT option, allowing customers to unsubscribe from receiving future marketing messages via WhatsApp. This approach not only reduces the chances of your number being marked as SPAM but also helps maintain proper visibility for your messages.
The implementation process for the OPT-OUT module involves three key steps:
Registering the OPT-OUT Message in Campaigns:
In your campaign workflows, it is essential to include the opt-out option (e.g., “Unsubscribe”) when creating message templates so that customers can choose to stop receiving commercial messages via WhatsApp. This step ensures that customers have the freedom to opt out of such communications.
Adding the Property in HubSpot:
To validate this option, it is necessary to have a property in HubSpot called “Block WhatsApp Messages”, configured as a single checkbox selection.
Management Panel Settings:
Within the management panel, there is a basic setting called "Prevent sending if the contact opts out of receiving WhatsApp messages." This setting must be enabled to ensure that any messages are blocked for contacts who have chosen not to receive further communications.
